Pontiac GTO Replacement Radiators
Pontiac was a division of GM, which spanned American history for 84 years before rolling out its final vehicle in 2010. This marked the death of an iconic automotive manufacturing legend that had brought American classics such as the Trans Am, and the GTO. Pontiac brought performance and affordability to their exciting sports-performance vehicles.
The Pontiac GTO is known for being the first muscle car, introduced in 1964 this car has become well known, not just among the automotive world, but had its time in the spotlight of pop culture, in a song that was released in the 60s. The first production run of the GTO lasted for a decade, and did not return for another 30 years, being revived in 2004 as the third-generation that had been named the Holden Monaro.
The radiator cools down the engine by a series of functions, first the water-based coolant is passed through the engine, this absorbs the heat and allowing the engine to cool. Then, the hot coolant returns to the radiator, where it is distributed across the radiator to cool, before once again returning to the engine. If the radiator is faulty or leaking, each cycle the coolant will leak out and thus, allowing the engine increasingly to rise in temperature, further damaging your car.
